Another Hollywood Sh*t Show

I’m astonished to see just how many men are happy that Depp won his case against Heard.

Johnny Depp enjoying his court case against ex-wife Amber Heard

They’re happy not because they believe Depp, but because they can now say, “see, women can be abusers and men can be their victims, so women are just as bad as men.”

You know what I say to those happy men?

I say, go to Hell, you have no idea what you’re talking about. A woman can never, ever abuse a man to the extent that a man can abuse a woman.

And I say to them, when did you EVER see a woman who claims her husband abused her, sue him for it? And laugh and crack jokes in court during the proceedings? Have you ever seen an abused woman look so happy, as Depp did during HIS trial?

So shame on you for rejoicing over this case. Shame, shame, shame.

The whole point of making this ridiculous case so very, very public, was to put women on a par with abusive men. So mission accomplished. We women are all bitches again and our true colours have been shown.

And to those women who have been abused by men and think this trial was about justice, well, I have a whole different take on the trial. I used to be a big fan of Depp, but since this trial, I think he’s another overprivileged middle-aged male. Not because he was or wasn’t abused by Heard, because frankly, I really don’t care about the private life of two celebrities; they don’t live in the same world we do; I don’t care if Heard lied or not, I don’t care about the “justice” in this case. So she secretly videoed him, set him up, shat in his bed. So what? This was not a criminal case, it was a civil case. All Depp wanted from her was 50 million dollars. So don’t expect me to shed any tears over that.
What woman who was abused by her husband, has ever sued him for millions of dollars, instead of wanting to see his abusive ass thrown in jail? And then she sits there, in her court case, laughing and cracking jokes? Really??!!

Again, this was NOT a criminal case, so I really don’t see how anyone can think this is about truth and justice. It was about money.

I didn’t watch any of the trial at all - except for two short clips that a friend sent me - simply because I don’t care about what this married couple did or didn’t do, and I didn’t think the outcome would enhance our justice system, because it was about money, not justice. It was all one big stupid reality show. Hollywood entertainment and distraction. And now men everywhere point at Amber Heard as evidence of how awful women can be. Frankly, I think this trial hurt women who have been abused, more, because it has made it even harder for women to be believed.

The judge could have and should have said that because this is a high profile case, the media should not have been allowed to film it, especially given that it was merely a civil case. And I do think that given the outcome, it will now enhance the men vs. women war. The outcome was always going to be in favour of Depp. That’s also why I didn’t bother watching it, it was so predictable.

When you know that there is a war on women, it’s not hard to understand why this was made so very public, why it has misled so many people, especially women, into thinking that the case is about justice for the abused, and why Depp won.

….Meanwhile, in another court case - a criminal case about real abuse - Ghislaine Maxwell has been found guilty of sex-trafficking of children, but the judge refuses to make public who her clients were, who abused those girls.

You can bet your bottom dollar, that they’re rich, powerful men, who shall remain unnamed, and untouched by the justice system.

Emma Thompson, who graduated from Cambrige University, talks about how extensive the problem really is.

Namasté.
